Novare was engaged to undertake the detailed seismic assessment and retrofit design solutions for the anaerobic digester tanks at Palmerston North City Council waste-water facility. The 13m diameter, 11m tall anaerobic digester tanks are partially buried.

Novare was able to provide solutions that allow for the anaerobic digester to remain fully operational throughout the strengthening process, while still meeting the client’s strengthening requirements.
