Client: Project Adventure New Zealand (PANZA)

Contractor: PANZA for zipline installation & Local contractors for scaffold tower assembly

Status: Completed 2017

PANZA was contracted by a local advertising agency on behalf of Heineken Asia-Pacific, to design and construct ziplines and climbing wall elements for a public event in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Novare carried out the structural engineering associated with the zipline cables, braking elements, backstay support cables and foundations.

The 150m long twin-ziplines spanned over the Love River at a 20m height, with riders reaching speeds of up to 40km/hr. The front wall of the take-off tower also featured a 6-storey high Tiger Beer logo, with 5 lines of via-ferrata climbing elements. The event was a great success, with up to 60 people per hour using the ziplines and climbing wall over a 3-day period.
