Structural investigation of 92 railway bridges and the detailed design of rehabilitation works of 12 bridges was undertaken on the Royal Cambodian Railway Southern Line. Novare Design worked closely with the contractor, local Khmer workers and the government appointed representatives to inspect the bridges and develop repair details.

Typical design and site work which was undertaken included steel repairs to truss superstructures, new concrete piers founded on four bored piles to replace dilapidated foundations, underpinning of concrete piers by using post tensioned concrete caps around the existing structure, designing concrete skirts and tension jackets for deteriorated pier and abutment piles, and several concrete span repairs.

Novare Design was engaged by the international consortium of SPCC (China) and TSO (France) to develop concepts, prepare detailed designs and documentation, prepare Bill of Quantities and monitor construction works.
