Novare Design has resources to undertake both small and large projects in civil infrastructure, commercial, industrial and building sectors with an experienced team of principals overseeing project quality and delivery. We are involved in several multi-million dollar projects around New Zealand and abroad, with a large focus on rail and road bridge projects.
We have the experience and resources to undertake seismic evaluations of buildings and have been involved in the inspection of damaged buildings and infrastructure from the Canterbury Earthquakes, including seismic building assessments in the Canterbury area and around New Zealand for various clients. We are involved in the design and construction management of seismic upgrades to deficient buildings to improve their earthquake strength. We recently designed and construction managed the replacement of a Christchurch rail bridge whilst ensuring the rail line remains operational throughout the physical works.
Our Directors and senior engineers bring a broad depth of diverse experience to our clients’ projects. The Directors oversee all project inputs by junior staff. We actively encourage internal reviews of design philosophies at early stages in projects to ensure concepts are appropriate for our clients to take forward into detailed development.
We operate all around New Zealand from our Wellington and Auckland offices and have previously maintained an office in Asia, as well as operating from an office in the Philippines when required. We have worked on projects in Australia, the Solomon Islands, the Pacific, the Philippines and Cambodia.
The company has IT resources including SAP 2000, MIDAS, Strand7, Microstran and ETABS among others for undertaking detailed structural analysis, and the Microsoft Office suite of products as standard on all personal computers.
